Gift hamper basket, handmade in raffia with an eco-style look
This eco-style handmade gift hamper basket is woven by hand from raffia. Cream raffia is wrapped upright around a round body and overlaid with a green knotted net in a diamond pattern, and the same green cord criss-crosses the round arched handle. The base is woven in cream with a green centre band, so the basket looks good from every angle, even when it is empty.

The low, wide round body gives a stable base for building a hamper, and the tall arched handle leaves room above it for cellophane wrap and a bow. Fill it with dry fruits, chocolates, jars, candles, tea, cosmetics or fresh fruit, then wrap and tie it at the top for a finished gift.
